NOTICE TO WILD ACRES CUSTOMERS OF DELAWARE SEWER / CONSOLIDATED POCONO UTILITIES / CLEAN TREATMENT SEWAGE:
On July 22, 2011, Clean Treatment Sewage (CTS) and Delaware Sewer (DS), who operate under the parent company of Consolidated Pocono Utilities (CPU), sent a letter to Delaware Township, which indicated they would no longer be able to operate the sewer plants at Marcel Lake Estates and Wild Acres Lakes after December 31, 2011.
In speaking with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, there is no likelihood this will interrupt service for customers of either sewer plant. The Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission has steps in place to ensure that your service will remain in place.
